God We believe in the one true, holy and living God, Eternal Spirit, who is Sovereign and Preserver of all things seen and unseen. He is infinite in power, wisdom, justice, goodness and love, and rules with gracious regard for the well-being and salvation of men, to the glory of his name. We believe the one true God reveals himself as the Father of creation, the Son in redemption and the Holy Spirit in Restoration.(Duet 6:4; Isa 44:6; Matt 28:19; Lk 3:22; Jn 15:26 15:26 Jesus We believe in Jesus Christ, truly God and truly man, in whom the divine and human natures are perfectly and inseparably united. He is the eternal Word made flesh, the only begotten Son of the Father, born of the Virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. As ministering Servant he lived, suffered and died on the cross. He was buried, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, from whence he shall return. He is eternal Savior and Mediator, who intercedes for us, and by him all men will be judged (Matt 3:17; Rev 1:8; Jn 1:1-14; Matt 1:23; Lk 1:31-35; Isa 7:14, 54:4-7; Jn 3:16).
The Holy Bible We believe the Holy Bible, Old and New testaments, reveals the Word of God so far as it is necessary for our salvation. It is to be received through the Holy Spirit as the true rule and guide for our faith and practice. Whatever is not revealed in or established by the Holy Scriptures is not to be made an article of faith nor is to be taught as essential to salvation. (2 Pet 1:20-21; 2 Tim3:15-17; Jn 7:17; 1 John 1:9-11 The Church We believe the Christian Church is the community of all true believers under the Lordship of Christ. We believe it is one, holy, apostolic and universal. It is the redemptive fellowship in which the Word of God is preached by men divinely called. Under the discipline of the Holy Spirit the Church exists for the maintenance of worship, the edification of the saints and the redemption of the world. (Col 1:18; Eph 4:4-6; Acts 13:1-3; 1 Cor 14:26-33). Water Baptism We believe Baptism by way of immersion in Jesus name signifies entrance into the household of faith, and is a symbolic of the death, burial, resurrection and newness of life of the believer. Water baptism also is a representation of the new birth in Christ Jesus and a mark of Christian discipleship. We believe baptism to be an outward and visible declaration of an inward and invisible transformation. (Acts 2:38-41; 19:1-7; Matt 28:19; Mk 16:16). Baptism of the Spirit We believe that baptismal in the Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues is essential to every believer. This baptism empowers the believer for service and authenticates the call to be a witness for Christ. (Acts 1:8; 2:1-6;10:44-48;19:6; Mk 16:7). Evangelism We believe that the Word of God must be preached through-out the whole world. That we are to be obedient to the commandment of our Lord, to declare the Good news. (Acts 1:8; Matt 26:14; Lk 24:47 28:19-20). The Judgment and the Future State We believe all men stand under the righteous judgment of Jesus Christ, both now and in the last day. We believe in the resurrection of the dead; the righteous to eternal life and the wicked to eternal damnation and separation from God. (Heb 9:27; 1 Thess 4:13-18; Jn 5:24-29; 2 Tim 4:1). Modest Apparel We believe in dressing appropriately and modestly whereas the Word of God teaches us that the saints should wear appropriate clothing as a testimony of their godliness.(1 Cor 11:2-16; Deut 22:5; 1 Tim 2:9-15) Community WorshipWe believe Community worship is the duty and privilege of every believer who, in the presence of God, should approach in adoration, humility and dedication. We believe divine worship is essential to the life of the church (assembly of believers). The assembling of the people of God for such worship is necessary to strengthen Christian fellowship and spiritual growth. Worship must be met with a reverent and clean heart. (Jn 4:22-23; Rev 5:11-14; 1 Cor 14:26). Tithes, Offerings and AlmsWe believe in the obedience of the giving of tithes and offerings as a fundamental and essential part of our worship. Being obedient to this principle enables covenant blessing to remain upon the believers. (Pro 3:9; Ex 23:19; Mal 3:10-12; 1 Cor 9:6-14; Lk 6:38).
